Medicine and Politics

Being a qualified doctor I have an interest in

the world affairs since my student time being President & chief organiser of the student unions . Therefore, politics is my area of interest along with the medicine and global issues which I found rewarding to explore topics like:

  1. Global health disparities : How healthcare systems and policies impact different populations worldwide.
  1. Humanitarian crises: The role of healthcare professionals in responding to conflicts, natural disasters, atrocities and other emergencies and lifesaving procedures like in recent crisis in Gaza , Iran and other countries with natural disasters and war-torn causalities .
  1. Health diplomacy : The intersection of health and international relations, including global health governance and policymaking with equality and justice.

I am engaging with organizations or initiatives that align with my interests, as a

       medical specialist such as:

  1. World Doctors

Alliance : which we established in the wave of COVID pandemic and vaccine mandate in early 2020.

  1. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)

Providing medical humanitarian aid worldwide.

  1. Setting effective global health policies and standard
  2. Global health research initiatives: Exploring innovative solutions to pressing health challenges.

My unique perspective as a doctor with an interest in world affairs can contribute valuable insights to protect human catastrophes , discussions and initiatives aimed at improving global health and well-being.

Humanitarian support, charity, and human relief in war-torn areas are critical for saving lives and alleviating suffering. Some key aspects include:

  1. Emergency response :Providing immediate aid, such as food, shelter, and medical care, to those affected by conflict.
  1. Long-term support : Offering sustained assistance to help communities recover and rebuild.
  1. Protection of civilians : Advocating for the safety and dignity of civilians caught in conflict zones.

generations like the United Nations, Red Cross, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play vital roles in humanitarian efforts.

Some challenges in humanitarian work include:

Access and security : Ensuring safe access to affected areas and personnel safety. Number of health professionals died in Palestine recently while helping patients.

12 Funding and resources : Securing sufficient funding and resources to meet humanitarian needs.

  1. Coordination and collaboration: Effective collaboration among organizations to maximize impact.

My interest in humanitarian support , empathy and charity contributes in making a

positive difference in the lives of those affected by conflict, war torn , poor, and

         helpless humans.
